u did right thing..but make sure u have right codecs........www.divxmovies.com click xvid codec and divx codec at left side and run them...then google ac3 filter
converting avi to dvd..nero..winavi...there are loads out there...but takes a few hours...be better buying a divx player...burn avi file in 5 mins and watch it

I have downloaded rar files then when I extracted them, they were converted to .avi (sound only - no movie). Is it possinle to convert it to .wmv or .mpeg to watch the video.
