you definately need k-lite codec pack. it has every codec you will ever need to play, encode, or anything else you may wanna do with a video file.

you can download the CCCP codec pack on http://cccp-project.net/download.php this pack installs all codecs for the most internet streams on your pc

when i play mkiv files on window media player all it only shows the audio, no video at all. how can i play .mkv files on window media player with video?
