Of the three tools commonly used (videotoolbox, gspot, and avicodec), at the current time only avicodec can determine the codec used by asf/wmv files. That would be your best for now.

Hi guys, I have downloaded a vedio(movie) file with .ASF Extension. I tryed to play it with many different players (software), but it dosent work. In media player 6 it says it needs some codes............ Can any one PLEASE help me what program or converting program I should use, so I can watch the dam.... movie. THANKS
