I a have quite a lot of captured DV footage that I want to edit in Premiere Pro. The problem is that it was captured (on a different computer) using Quicktime and my Premiere Pro doesn’t seem to be able to edit the material without rendering it to a avi-version first. I thought I could just change the editing mode, but the only options are “DV Playback” and “Video for windows”.

Does anyone know of a way to edit in Quicktime mode instead of converting the files. (It’s about 15 hours of footage so I believe it will take a little to much storage and time to convert the files...)

I use Premiere Pro 1.0 and have Quicktime Player Pro 6.5 installed.
