I have Rad Video Tools.
To convert MOV files, choose 'Convert a file' near the bottom. Another screen will pop up. This will allow you to browse your file that you want converted. Then click 'Output type' and choose what you want (AVI, JPEG,GIF, WAV, etc). Then click 'Convert.' A box will open for Video Compression. Make you selection and press 'Ok.' Click 'Done' and you should be set.bach bar

Oh my god Smith 27, you just MADE MY WEEK!!!

I too have a Canon that takes video in HD (sx1is) and I have been trying to find a good converter for mov to avi without loss of quality for DAYS. I even forked out for Quicktime 7 Pro (waste of cash!!)

Your trick works a treat! Loving ConvertMOVtoAVI

Now... how to figure out how to get my Canon camera to stop going in and out of focus on still objects... ah that can wait for another day, in a good mood now. Thanks again!
