i know that the quality is good, i should have been more clear. i have already adjusted the volume settings and was wondering is their anythings else or any other codecs i could try to increase the volume, also if i were to put it on a dvd disk to watch on my dvd player, would the sound be low on that to?

AC3 is the original DVD’s audio format. It’s very high quality, but somtimes the audio volume level’s a bit low. This is a separate issue to Audio Quality, it’s purely a case of the volume being a bit low. Quality of the audio is still high though.

Same problem here:

i have used audio and video codecs before and have had no problem, but i notice when i download the ac3 to correct the 8192 tag problem the sound in there, but it is too low to here. in the past i remember it was low before but this time it is rediculous as i can’t heat whats going on. has anyone else had this problem? if so can u tell me how to get better sound quality?
thanx
