That’s unusual. It’s been included in every version of Windows from Windows 95 to Windows XP (maybe Vista too, but I’m not very sure).
It would tremendously help if you mentioned what version of Windows you’re using (and if you have any CD’s of old versions of Windows too - that could help). That way I could indicate the most straightforward way to obtain it (rather than write steps for each and every different version).

Can anyone help me find this download for FREE? I need this to play music videos and some movies, but can’t find it anywhere (even windows doesn’t have it. If anyone knows where to go to download if FREE please let me know. It’s called a:
