How do I do this? I tried going into the file’s properties and doing that but it said access denied.
I doesn’t work for me, even if I replace imaadp32.acm and msadp32.acm with older versions. What to doo?! ;__;

Confirm “G-collections syndrome”.
Had a problem on Vista (Rus):There will be no voice or sound effects because the system does not support ADPCM files."
Checked System32 - imaadp32.acm was there. Replaced it with file taken from XP (Eng). Message is gone, sound is ok.
Thanx.
i know this is an old post but thanks to you guys i’m able to hear the voice of my games

i had the same problem and i found the msadp32 and imaadp32 files, both of them version 4.0, amd then replace the ones in folder Windows\sistem32, and now the problem its solved.
i dont know if this still helps but i upload the files in a rar file at filesend, here it is
http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=055614cf118bfab98296e0dbb21da942
