What is the name of the trojan in this file. Will trojan run if file is downloaded but not installed?

DO NOT DOWNLOAD this file.

IT contains a trojan horse.

Do not fall for any Codec installs unless released by Microsoft or Yahoo.

The file may or may not work but unfortunately there’s a trojan in the file.

This file works GREAT, to the person claiming it didn’t work: Did you reboot? I had to reboot for the codec to show up. As far as corrupting files. I’d guess it was the porn you downloaded.. :P Just kidding.. Anyways the file is safe and worked fine for me...

This is the proper way to get voice w/ yahoo messenger 8+ with Vista (Ultimate)
The true speech codec was eliminated from Vista because it is “incompatible” and outdated.
This wont fix using a chat client on yahoo. You still wont get voice. (Still no workaround..yet)




averyangryman, good thing you back up everything, better yet go buy a good laptop that wont be destroyed by a simple audio codec.. supposedly

how did it corrupt your files? this is the correct file for vista. vista did not come with this codec so you do need to install may i suggest not going to porn sites on your company laptop that prevent you from getting a virus. ;-p

don’t be stupid. don’t try this at all. it wouldn’t work on vista. i tried it, and somehow it corrupted some system files on my laptop. at the end, I have to restore everything from my backup image. good thing that I always backup files before I install anything. God, who post this, don’t try to destroy other people’s laptop like this.

save the file to your computer, no need to place it anywhere special, just save it to your computer, and you’re are good to go, I downloaded it today and saved it to my comp, and tried it by going into a chat room and it worked perfect!!!
