i downloaded codec and i get an error message, then the movie plays with no volume. help!

thanks guys! Had same problem - thought i too had wasted 3gig worth of downloads with no sound. THe Ac-3 adapter worked brilliant

I’ve been downloading all these codecs, they would install, but it DivX would STILL not play any sound — Even WMP, and Veoh.

Help, please?
