Can you feed the file into videoinspector (http://www.kcsoftwares.com/index.php?vtb) and paste what it says? (especially video codec)

try and download Matroska player and matroska pack. It works fine with me

I’ve downloaded a video mkv file which doesn’t seem to work in any of my video players. I tried it in WMP, mediaplayer2, VLC player, realplayer but all i get is the sound and no video. I ran it through MatroskaDiag and got this:
