Your question isn’t very clear. Are you trying to play a QuickTime file in Windows Media Player or are you trying to convert a QuickTime file into Windows Media format (extension .asf or .wmv)?
If you want to play the QuickTime file in Windows Media Player, install QuickTime Alternative. It has a DirectShow splitter that will allow QuickTime files to be played in Windows Media Player.

If you’re trying to convert a QuickTime file (extension .qt or .mov) into a Windows Media file (extension .asf or .wmv) you can follow the steps I described in thread 3864.
