I Thought I was the only one asshole person that had this fucking problem, but searching the right codec to play XtraFine files of my Panasonic SV-AV50 D-Snap camera, I got into this forum...I read all complains and everyone were just like me...the same trouble..the same issue…”CANNOT PLAY XF FILES IN OUR PC's!” I followed the instructions that the columbian guy (juanmeminpiloto) provided. I right clicked the link and it drove me to a japanese site of panasonic, i downloaded the "so-called" codec to play the XF files, it took almost 10 minutes and what happened?? I run windows media player and once again appears a little windows that says: "Cannot play file because of missing codec"..and i said, FUCK THAT ! the panasonic site was wrong??..what do i do?!..and before closing that little window I read that there was an option that said: "Help from the web" so i clicked on it and a window opened itself and appeared: "The following search results match the codec that you are missing. To download and install the codec, click the download site below and then follow the instructions. " FUCK!!! I said! that's it!! you only have to click a japanese link (I couldn’t read ANYTHING at all, but I only realized that in green characters there was an option to download the codec. I already downloaded, and finally I could play the XTRA FINE files in my computer!! Fucking cool!!! You only have to download codecs twice, only 2 codecs, the one that appears in the Panasonic link that provided the guy form Colombia and the other link I say (the Japanese one, actually it is from a SHARP page, once you download the codec from that page you’ll see everything appears in Japanese,) I don’t have my pc to recognize Japanese characters, so the only shit that appeared were shit like these : ?¿¨^^Ñ$Ñ•%(•!”•$$)I$=•)$, But it doesn’t matter, once you download the codec a wizard shield appears, and you only have to picture on your minds that you are installing just one more program in your pc like msn messenger, I mean , no matter what it says, just click “Next”, just click the selected option that appears, don’t select anything, just click, then you have to restart your pc and then, you CAN PLAY XTRA FINE FILES !!! Hi All,

I’ve also got a 42” plasma tv that records onto SD card. However, when played back on the TV it is a kinda small picture (about half the available screen area).
Do I have to set the picture aspect to a particular size/ratio to enable a full screen playback??

Hello from Japan. If you only want to watch asf file by extra fine mode on your pc, you can download this media player(called tcpmp) here. http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/0.71/
You must choose Win32 Player + Plugins, and install it. it works.

i can record from my panasonic tv to the sd card and play back on my pc, but i cant load video from pc to playback on tv does anyone know how to do this.
