That’s because it’s a different codec! CVID is Cinepak and IV41 is Indeo 4, which comes bundled with most Windows PC’s. DIV4 is Divx 3 fast-motion. Usually divx 5 can handle it, but not always. If it fails get the divx 3 codec here.

Hi, see I use this program called ARES and I download the last Thundercats' episode, but it is a AVI DIV4 and I can’t see it. The strange thing is that a I have a 2 files, one has the format AVI IV41 and the other is AVI CVID, and I can see them. What can I do?
