I never knew that this XPCODEC PACK can be installed on my Vista so when i try to install it on my Vista, it recognized this RMVB files, and i can play it now on Media Player. Thanks to this XP_CODEC_PACK.

fortybeers wrote: Extract http://www.winavi.com/RMdll.rar to your winavi folder in program files. This will take care of error on WINAVI. For a good program that has played every kind of media I have downloaded so far go to a torrent site and get the VLC Media Player. This plays EVERYTHING.

VLC does play a lot, but that’s the problem I came here for. I have VLC and it’s been very useful, but it won’t play .rmvb or other RealMedia files without a codec either.

Just bung all of the extracted files into the WinAVI VideoConverter folder and it should work. This works with WinAVI VideoConverter 6.3, I’m not sure about newer versions.
