maybe the FPC which connects the screen and the PCB boad of the player is cold soldered.
maybe the screen is broken, change the screen.
it’s better for you to return it to where you buy.

I bought a mp4 player all it does is turn on or charge with a blue screen and an hour glass like its loading but never does the computer doesn’t recognize it when you plug it up it will for a second then it just doesn’t show up anyone know anything about it here is a link to the mp3 player I got or one exactly like it http://www.usb-tek.com/MP3MP4/MP4_Player/UT312J_II.html
