You could try http://divxsubtitles.net/

It searches several sites for you.

mick,

Try changing video players.

I’m sure there’s another one that is better suited for your needs.

I personally use KMplayer.

It uses internal and external codecs, the user specifies when to use the codec required.

I chose this over VLC and media player classic, and both of those I chose over Windows Media Player.

Most people here would say go with VLC, it’s low maintainance, and uses only internal codecs.

VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

KMplayer: http://cdn.pandora.tv/KMP/Download/beta/The_KMPlayer_1434.exe

To test the codecs required:http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/GSpot270a.zip

If you’re 100% that it’s xvid: http://www.xvid.org/

If you think it’s divx: http://www.divx.com/en/products/software/windows/divx

If you’d prefer to hit for the fences so to speak, try out the k-lite codec pack and only install the required codecs.

Are you sure the downloaded AVI file is intactness?

Search a video converter for windows OS, you will work it out. smiley
