“TS((AVHD H.264, VC-1, MPEG-2 HD)" is the abbreviation of “Transport stream” (in high definition).
If you want to burn a TS file or convert and burn a video file you can use DVD Creator.

i have a hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1850 PCI Express TV combo tuner.and the tv i record for my local cable company is stored as a ts file . i can import the ts file onto the timeline in sony vegas . from there i clip out the commercials. then render as what ever i need , wmv, mpeg, quick time. what ever . its very easy and works every time. but if you look through the sony vegas spec sheet you wont see any support for .ts files. yet it does in fact suppot them. good luck
