As I know, there are 3 steps that you can finish burning your avi files to dvd.
1. Add your avi video files to list by clicking on “Add” button.
2. Edit and preview the video before burning.
3. Click on “Burn” button to start burning. It’s so easy.

First thing to check is the dvd player. Is it DivX-certified? If yes, and your movie is an avi encoded with the DivX codec (and in some cases the xvid codec), all you need to do is burn a data cd-r with the avi file on it and the player will play it.

If it’s not DivX-certified, then you will just have to convert your video file into dvd format, then burn it to a dvd+/-r. There’s a whole market full of products that can do that. Just google for dvd authoring products.

P.S: In many cases if you have a dvd+/-r drive, it will already come with dvd authoring software along with the cd/dvd burning software.
