It’s an XVid in AVI form. I know it isn’t the movie, its a rip of a screener. All the movies I used to play at full volume now play quietly.

its more than likely that could just be the file. what type of file is it xvid, divx mpeg or whatever. you could always try a different codec pack i think kazaa lite’s is the best http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm

I’ve been having trouble with movie playback for a while - been using nimo. I thought I’d give the ACE Mega pack a try, and sure enough video comes through perfect. The sound is clean as well, but irritatingly quiet. The volume on speakers and everything is set properly (MP3’s play at normal volume). Anyone have some suggestions? Thanks
