Some 'genius'. Instead of making fun of people who are trying to learn their computers — - why don’t you tell them how to fix it?
RealPlayer will play files that Windows Media won’t. Seems to me, changing the extension of the file might work as well.

i think if the movie is downloaded from the net , could be its error because of the incomplete download of the movie or the movie could be corrupted ...

I tried to get DivX. The DivX programme asked med to get Quick Time in order to play the movie, and I got that too. Now I can see it.

It works... thank you!!!

I NEED TO FIX MY REGISTRY BUT I CANT FIND ANYTHING FOR FREE THAT WILL ACULALLY FIX THE PROBLEMS WITH MY REGISTRY....

this was my problem Error ID = 0xC00D1199, Condition ID = 0x00000000 but u advise to use vlc media player but it donsnt work............

Am unable to watch a movie on my compuetr. The following is the error message and its Istraight- [Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play.]
