sony mp3/mp4 player is not playing and not detecting by pc

Hi guys... can somebody help me out? i got a huge problem with my SONY Mp4/3 player,.. My problem is i cant play any songs at all, all i can use is to listen 2 my radio and games, if i go to my MUSIC it say NO FILES. why is that? can somebody help me out pls. my player is very important to me. Please tell me what to do?

hey i hav a 1 GB mp4 sony player
but i can only put few song like 233 mb and if i put more the i detects the song but when i try to play it the player gets re started so someone plzzz help me i’ll be really greatful

my ipod was format how to install again

i braught a sony mp4/mp3 player recently .after
copying the audio files(mp3)someof those files are not opening.i tried to format the player.actually it is 2 gb player.while doing format it has shown its full capacity as 455mb.i formated the player.after that it is not running.
if i connect it to computer using USB cable it not detecting as removable disk.it is been decteting as USB device.how to solve this problem
is any software reqd.plese give m einformation.
