Hi all,

I currently use a combination of a download manager (so I can manage the speed, and schedule of when I download video files) and a video converter to convert it to .m4v ipod files.

The problem is how to sync them with my ipod.

I really do hate the layout of itunes and it’s naming structure of files.

So I am looking for a piece of software that will convert DVD and video files to .m4v or simply add .m4v files to the ipod and update the ipod database.

I’ve already found one: avs-video-converter.html" rel="nofollow" target="_new">AVS Video Converter

They say that it is “the only video converter that not only makes, but also transfers video to iPods without itunes”

Did you have a chance to try it?
Do you know any alternatives?

Any suggestions.

I’ve tried Imtoo. Not bad video converter. But it cannot transfer files to ipod. I’m looking for a tool to put video files to ipod directly.
