Alright everyone using Mac OS X. I’ve found the solution to AMV conversion. Here is what you will have to do:
1) Download a wonderful program called Darwine (allows os X to run Windows applications w/o Windows!). Here is the site: http://darwine.opendarwin.org/

2) Download the AMV converter (free). Here is the site: http://www.uxcell.com/uxcell/retail/item/showItemLayout.php?action=showItem&id=mv0blk2048mp036

All you have to do is run Darwine once to set up your computer so that it will run Darwine when a .exe file is executed.

Done! Any problem, email me at friarduc@yahoo.com

Alternatively, check users.rcn.com/friarduc to download various files needed.

i have amv converter tool, but for some reason no matter what settings i use and what file, i still come across an error when trying to convert!!!

when i got an amv file that finally worked, when i went to play it on my mp4 player it said file error

I have just got a new azo MP4 player. While I was wondering why my media player files are not playing on the MP4, I learnt that I need to convert the files to AMV format...again totally lost. Luckily I got the converters on the link provided chanced upon the link provided by Sgt.DA on Quote no.8. The other links did not provide the solution. Thanks buddy for such valuable info. Hello i just got my Ipocket today and i was wondering it came with the AMV convertor but my windows Media Player 11 beta 2 does not allow me to sync it too my ipocket any ideas how to transfer my AMV video files to my Ipocket ?
