MP4 player wont turn on anymore

i bought my mp4 off of ebay a week ago and now it wont turn on when i tkae it off the charger. can anyone help me. i can still put files on it and i can hear the music if i keep it ocnencted to a power source.

is it silver and then red or black at the bottom? And below the screen does it say MP4 Digital audio/video player? If it does then when u figure out how to turn it on without the charger please email me at hollywoodsupasta@hotmail.com I think i have the same one

Well mine was like that too. that means your mp4 is not properly charged therefore it can be swtiched on. Your cable wire or the charger is spoiled. So you need to go and get a new one. And try charging it first. about a whole full hour. Then try switching it on back again.

my mp4 wont turn on but when i put it on charge it comes on and i can send files to it but when i take it off charge it dosent come on and i alo bought the mp4 from ebay it is colour pink and please help if you know what to do to turn it back on

you have to turn them on while they are charging to get them to hold the charge don’t know why but I have had one for almost two years and that is the only way it will charge.

i plug in the mp4 to charge and the charger lites up but the mp4 wont turn on y is that sum1 plzzz help me

I got a mp4 recently and it downloaded some songs onto it.. but just a day ago I did the same thing and when I unplugged the mp4 from the computer and pressed the start button it never turned on.. I even tried charging it and it just won’t show any sign of charging.. I think I must have put some music files that were corrupted.. Am I right??

I had this same problem. if you take the cover off Yo uwill probably find taht one of the wires from the battery has come off and you will need to resodder it to the board.

i’ve got an mp4 that is red in colour and my sister won it from a contest.after she gave it to me,i started to download songs and it work like normal.but then,yesterday i just download an X file theme song from Imesh and listen to it in the morning after that day before i go to school.i fogot to turn the mp4 off.when i return home and tried to on it,it didnt turn on.i tried charging it(thought that it is out of battery) but the charger said that it was full,not out of battery yet.so,i took the mp4 out and tried to on it again,it still didnt turn on.i only can listen to it when it is plug to the charger and can be able to still download files into it.But i couldnt on it when it is unplugged from the charger.PLEASE HELP ME!PLEASE!IF MY SISTER FOUND OU I’VE SPOILED HER MP4 SHE’S GONNA BASH ME UP LIKE HELL OR MURDER ME!
