I received the player this week from Hong Kong and went about uploading my 1GB mp3/mp4 songs to it. Wasting no time the player started acting up, most of the files I uploaded became corrupt, the player showed “Format error!" when trying to play them. I tried formatting the unit (using FAT) and had the same problems.
Could someone please help me find the right software to upgrade the mp3 player.

please send me on my email add.-deepak111anand@yahoo.com

I’m getting an Empty Disk error when I try to access the mp3 player. Radio works, voice record works, movies and mp3 don’t. Can someone send me the firmware 9.0.50 so I can start again?

When you put the player in the computer, do you get wierd-looking files, and see your folders copied over and over again all over the place? That’s the problem I’m having...

device = 'LISONG MP3 Player'
manufacturer = 'Wilson Co. Ltd.'
firmware version = 9.0.50

I download the firmware from this page
http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9xx-firwmare-dc37.html

I DO NOT PROBE THEM

Because I didn’t know that the 8Gb are really 4Gb (duplicate by software), when I used the 80% o 90% of the memory the problems came to the player. It gegins to work bad with the files, and I CAN’T DELETE SOME OF THEM. Actualy it is working but with a few mp3 files (10% memory) “right”

QUESTIONS:

- HOW I CAN GET A COPY OF MY FIRMWARE? The program only allow to introduce a new one, not to save it.

- If I format the player, I delete de firmware too. (I don’t see at the PC the system files)

THANKS for all (FROM SPAIN) and sorry for mi english!!!!

Ok this may help some people

My 4gb player only allows maximum of 2gb per folder. I Created another folder and was able to store another 2gb of mp3 files. So for those who think it has hacked memory try this.

Also it is normal for this player to not show a list of music files - it only allows you to go backwards and forwards 1 file at a time. You can use the random feature to make things more interesting. Also keeping your finger on the last track/next track button allows you to skip many tracks at a time.

If you paid a lot of money for the player then you wasted your money. It is only worth paying very little for them. They are ok for the price (very cheap) but the sound quality is not great. It lacks bass.

GaCCaLL here:

http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9xx-firwmare-dc37.html

This is the best resource to help you.

My firmware of 9.1.50 seems stable but I could not find it on the site. 9.0.50 seems to be stable and it is on the site

For those of you out there with the mp4 player stuck on the hour glass there may be hope. I noticed that someone had mentioned the heating method but did not explain it. I came up with my own method that worked for me. I used a hot water bottle wrapped around my 8 gb Chinese mp3-4 player. The main power was left on with the hour glass showing. After about 5 minutes of heating it up I turned off the player with the main power switch at the top and then immediately turned the main power switch back on. THE PLAYER THEN STARTED AS NORMAL. After it starts to work again do not use the main power switch at the top. Only use the standby one. Good luck. Hope this works for you like it did for me. Remember don’t use that main power switch any more after it starts working.
