I received the player this week from Hong Kong and went about uploading my 4GB mp3/mp4 songs to it. Wasting no time the player started acting up, most of the files I uploaded became corrupt, the player showed “Format error!" when trying to play them. I tried formatting the unit (using FAT) and had the same problems.
Could someone please help me find the right software to upgrade the mp3 player.

Well boys I got 4 of them for this hong kong and got some problem also... and guess what I found. it’s only 989 meg or something... There is a CD that came with it check out the utility you will find a program you can install in there you will find a disk tool that will re-format to what it’s suppose to be witch is 1 gig. They compressed it. I wish we could ban them people from selling to ebay or control what junk they sell... I have dealt with ebay and that does not help... that A.. gave me bad feed back for his shit. lol well that’s all I can say...

Ref item Item #130081777900 MP4/MP3 player

I have just received this item and I cannot make it work. It will not accept music from a CD. When I copy the records
to the MP3 player I cannot find them. The MP3/MP4 player says that playing program is Itunes, but Itunes is not on the MP3/MP4 item. Also the user manual is very very small I cannot read it, and even with a magnifying glas it is very small and the instruction is very bad.
As I wrote to the seller that if you cannot help me I will have to through out the item and of course in that case I will have to inform e-bay about it, so they can warn new buyers of this item.
Otherwise You will have to send me the REAL IPOD FROM APPLE
THAT REALY WIS WORKING AND THE USER MANUAL IS PERFECT.

Best regards
