anyone who has a lisong mp3/mp4 player with a metal back housing i may have an easy fix for your problems. I was having memory errors, power off issues, blue screen, and a few other issues. I was able to fix all the issues by opening up the player and placing a piece of scotch tape from left to right across the inside center of the back housing. what was happening is that the electrical contacts for the LCD and the flash memory are exposed and almost touching the back housing. When you press a button on the device to go to menu or change song or volume the pressure causes the contacts to touch the back housing shorting out the player. depending on which contacts short you may lose you files in memory, get blue screen, power off or various other issues. since placing the tape inside the back metal housing all my problems have gone away.

Give it a try it may work for you as well

Need help with an mp4 I received as a gift, it won’t work unless plugged in......that shouldn’t happen should it??

Hi all,
My MP4 is giving the message “disk error”. I can insert music files through the computer but the MP$ doesn’t recognise its own memmory.
Any solution? maybe updating the firmware??
