installing firmware to mp4 player

Please help in to repair my Elite MP4 with Camera-2.4 inch Screen - 1GB + SD Slot. At first it was woking properly and i closed my mp4 player. After few hours when i turned on i saw “Please insert usb line to use usb disk - press and key to restart” Please help in to repair this problem

i got a mp3/ mp4 player and i tried everything to put music on it. the USB is hooked up to both ends on the computer. I donthave a software i dont know if i need one. I dont know what model it is. please help me and tell me if i need software to put music on my mp3/mp4 player
