Hey, I also need an mtv converter, not a freeware deal, I have a Cody MP610 & the converter I have that came with it will only read avi files, I need one that can read mp4 files & convert them back to mtv, so I can add them to my media player, if anyone has that program, or a codec pack that my converter can read, please send it to.....commit244@yahoo.com!!!!!!

Thank you in advance!!!!!

Hey guys if your still having problems i found the solution. Instead of looking online for a solution just look in the manual and call: 800-727-3592 which is the coby support and their other number which is 718-416-3197. If you tell them you need something that will convert to mtv the coby support will email you the program. The times dont match for the ones is the manual but just call anyways. Or you could email them at techsupport@cobyusa.com. I looked all over couldnt find anything then i just looked in my manual, found the number, called, and working fine now.

you can try use E.M. HD Video Converter
it can “Converting all videos to HD Video
Convert video and AVCHD to DVD, DivX DVD
Create Blu-ray Folder for PS3 and Blu-ray Player”
easy to use
so you can free download it from here:
http://www.effectmatrix.com/hd-video-converter/index.htm

if the player you are trying to apply the video to came with a “media manager” such as coby media manager for the coby mp600, then the solution is very simple. Simply click movies, select the “video folders” tab, then select every folder that appears. The manager should find all the videos on your hard drive, and all you have to do is right-click on the movie, then click syncronize. I spent days looking for programs that would convert to mtv, but really the manager does the work for you. Hear is a site that may answer further questions:

Hello all, I’d like to help you solve your problems.

When you download a video from a site, as .flv, If you convert it into other formats, MTV Video Converter can’t convert it. So, I’ll give you a program, named VDownloader, so you can download Video Sites videos as .avi or .mpeg or any other like them.. With this program, you won’t need to convert them. So your MTV Video Converter will convert them into .mtv format.

http://www.vdownloader.es/download.php

It’s easy to use it, anyways If you need help, post here.
