How to select a play menu in an .mtv file

I have a problem of playing a movie in my transend mp3 player. I have converted a MPEGAV movie file to .mtv file. But in the former category to choose the movie, I have to click 1 or to play songs I have to click 2. I am unable to click it in the transend player because it has only 2 options from one of the side push button viz., either to play or to stop the play.
The other option is to browse the folders.
Some one may help.
