Help upgrading

Hello, i would like to upgrade a PR838M30, the firmware is 00.00.0005.
Well, here the problem, i recently bought this product, it kind of nice, actually, it convinced me, but i would like change a lot of thing, one of the main things is the firmware version, because it can´t recognize 8GB micro SD, it came with a CD and program called mp3 player utillities, and it came with a upgrader program, now when i open it, it doesn´t recognize the device, and i can´t go into the main menu when is conected in the pc, (but i when conected to the wall)
