firmware MP4 Mp3 player - VL 547

I had bought 2gb MP4/MP3 player of sony make a few months ago and while downloading songs it is asking for formatting which i did in FAT32 so what happened is the capacity of memory reduce to just 475GB. Can anyone help me out to increase the memory size to atleast 1.5gb.Moreover the radio also cant play

I am having a 2GB so called sony mp3/MP4/video/FM player. I cannot play or copy songs beyond 130. Even if i copy more than that, it will not identify the rest of the songs beyond 130. Can some experts help me on this.

Recently i bought 2 GB Sony MP3/MP4/REC/FM Player. I have copied more than 200+ MP3 songs in a different folders. But when i am trying to play it, some folders are playing. In some folder i am not able to play the songs in it. Whenever i selected the particular folder, immediately my player get RESTARTS itself.

Why it happens. Is there any solution for this. What’s the Max. No. of MP3 files capacity of this player.

Hi all, i agree with u saahil. i bougth nano ipod looks player with 4gb firmware of wilson co.ltd v3.5.37. it do have 4gd capacity, but when i upload mp3 files(about 40 songs), the next files i upload will get corrupted. i cant even delete it cause it will says 'file not found'. so i format the player just to delete it and upload the files againt. but the problem are same. im so frastrated even my old 512mb astone mp3 player are much better to use.

I bought an mp4 player which was 1GB and i did something in the partition option now it is showing only 233MB please send me an solution as fast as possible

I have a player i tried to reset, it was a 4gb but i had a problem with putting a movie on it that took ages to set up and cuased my mp4 player to spit the dummy and it went back to chinese text fixed that esyly soon after when i tried to delete the file and reinstall it as in sometime when you put music on you mp4 player it dosent work ""(can fix this by testing the file after you have transfered it and if it dosent play on your computer then you need to reinstall it because its curupted)"" anyway then my mp4 player spat the dummy again because aparently they can’t handle more than 45 mintues per file so you have to split the movies up in 45 minute files its not that bad considering it will automaticly start playing the next file right after,
but back to the story,the movie didnt work and i think i deleted the file i can’t remeber if i deleted it or it just vanished but my mp4 player when i pluged it back into my computer it was saying it needed to be formated but it was displaying less then 2 geg’s and i know i have got a 4 geg so i tried reseting it by jumping the memory chip though it might of messed up my firmware cus my menues are a bit funny

if you have a player the same as mine you can extract it using this program “s1fwx” from http://www.s1mp3.de/ could you please download the program and extract your firmware and post it up here would very much apreciate it thanks. This program might help you even if youv got a differnt player and their are also other programs that are of intrest on this website like “s1res” which you can edit your firmware and change pictures on the menu bar e.t.c which is what i was talking about before i think i stuffed up some of my memor, not to sure (funny I found minesweeper in the games but i don’t know hot to activate it) download it and take a look.

And Oh i want to know how to get it back to 4 geg I’ve hered of it being done before All the best.

Actualy just to inform you i ran a check on my mp4 player of the files you can’t see like in the programing or somthing I found My mp4 player had a prblem in UI30.RES it says UI30.RES - 1.72mb - 9B61375D <- invalid checksum anyone know what that means? I wounder if its somthing to do with the memory but maby its not, though its the only error in it the other problems just i need to fix my firmware.

the people who have problem of corruption they must know that their mp3 player has less capacity then they ave been told and wahat it is showing so they must use the formatting tool to get teir mp3 of correct capacity so that they can use the capacity available in easy way


to do this use ur mp3 player utilities in that partition and encyrupt and set it to zero and format your mp3 player
