<<<<<<<hi i recently bought a china made sony mp3/mp4/rec/fm player of 4gb capacity.. every time i use the player a lot of temp files get accumulated in a folder which am unable to delete..the files reappear every time i delete them..now the capacity of the player is just 1gb.. the player goes blank when i try to play some loaded songs..
if i try formatting the player using the software provided with it then its capacity shal be reduced to 498mb .. so i did not try formattig it..
kindly help me with some suggestions..how do i remove these files.. will upgrading the firmware be of any help.. >>>>

as i had all your problems but i fixed mine i formated mine and it showed up as 256 when mines an 8gig chip i fixed that and i killed the firlkware when mnodding it and i fixed that so e mail or msn me if u needh help man | |

ktgagnon Guest | I have an S1 MP3/MP4 player, 4gb, that keeps crashing and and I have format errors, renaming of folders as square symbols, disappearing files, etc. I don’t dare upgrade the firmware at this point. Instead, I think its because the drive is formatted in FAT32 and it needs to be FAT or FAT16. Problem is using windows to format, when I right-click to get format type only see FAT32, no other option. How do I reformat into FAT? Is there a program anyone knows of or a trick to use with windows to reformat the flash into FAT? thanks. | |
