I have the same player and had the same problem. I found the right firmware and now it works perfectly. If you want me to send it to you, give me your email adress and I will send you the file.

I have sony(I think chines) SC85051 F version act_v3.5.35 based MP4 player i was trying to creat a partion on this 1 GB player but meanwhile bymistake i closed the tool that creats partition and now it only showing only some 108 MB space on the player memory.

Please tell me how to recover the lost partition.

The firmware for the Sony/Samsung ACT_V3.5.35
mp4 player can be downloaded from:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php?action=file&file_id=326

Download the dump file and use the MP3 Player upgrade tool in MP3 Player Utilities to upgrade your firmware. Also you can format ur sony mp4 player manually and then upgrade if u have any currupt folders. Hope this helps.

when i play wmv files the formate is not supported i don’t know to over come with this problem although the amv player is already install.

I have problem with my MP4. It cannot charge the battery, however I can use it well when the part is connected to USB but it cannot turn on if it is disconnected from the charger
