The chinese mp4 player shows 2 gb on print and when attached to computer is 256mb and remains same after formatting. Get me the software to increase the disk space.

I guess I upgraded it with the wrong player and all I get is a dead blue screen.

I cannot recover the old firmware either using the upgrade tool in mp3 utilities.

My original version was 3.2.16 Wilson Co Ltd. and I was only upgrading with another 3.2.16 version.

Any idea what went wrong?

I also tried a bunch of other firwares...version
3.2.13, and other 3.2.16 versions but none work.

Where can I find I firmware that will work or how do I recover my old one?

I do got a Fake Sony MP4 Player 1 GB Storage. After using their own software to format, it shows space of 223MB. Actually, I have understood it was a 256MB Player to which they have somehow made it display 1GB. Also it was earlier unable to store and play anything beyond 233MB storage. To all who purchase similar items, I assure they can never get the memory back. So best is buy the original ones of the company not the fake ones.
All the fake and less expensive Players are showing their memory 1GB or more but are not that much. All are 256 or 512MB. In order to verify the actual size, Use AMV Convertor 4.0 . It has got a tool which shows the actual size of the drive. and moreover I found this tool with the CD I got with the Player..Ha..

Dear, Go throgu what I said. Its a 256 MB Player. Try to save files upto size of 200MB. No such error will be there.
