Desperately need firmware for Chinese fake "ipod"

I got an “Ipod” on ebay and the playlist showes up w C:// file names then the song. And another thing, it wont play all the way thru my list of music. It reboots at the same place everytime so I have to go backward. I know, wierd. Any suggestions for me?

OK im no teckie but I just fixed mine use this link above to get the firmwear-thanks dude who posted it. Get any version that has the code Firmware 9.1.52 Save that to your hard drive. Hook up your I pod to your computer and re format in what ever drive yo are pluged in mine was-G-reformatting is how you get out the version that doesnt work. Go to recent Items on your windows start. Im running Vista. you will see a long line of sh!t with Firmware 9.1.52 in it. left click it. it will give you the option to send it. Once ot does send it to the drive you have your ipod n andit should upload. Then to get music go to your windows media player and then sync up and enjoy. Oh yeah try lime wire for your music. Just save the music to windows media player then it will play on your fake pod LOL

I had the same trouble. The only way to fix this is to 're-format' the player to wipe out everything you added. I made separate folders on my PC and added up to 50 songs (no more) in each folder. I have 7 folders each for my favorite music artists. Then I transferred them all to the player. I also add video clips as well which I delete to add new ones. It works fine now. But I will not add anything more to it because I am afraid that it will get all mixed up again. This happens I believe when you have too many videos added to it. But I’m not positively sure this causes the corrupt files. I paid $19.00 including shipping. Good enough for the $$!

I had a problem with my fake chinese nano, “wrong format” when added some songs, not all of them had problems. What I did was I played around with one of my software, I have soundforge by sony. I opened a song file using soundforge, copied it, then pasted it in a new file in soundforge, saved it and then tried it on my nano and it worked. Or try converting it to another format and then back to mp3 - I tried it with “mp3 to wav back to mp3” and it some songs worked.
To play videos you have to use a Chinese converter. I found one online that works perfect - AMV Convert Tool - Do a search for “AMV_Convert_400.zip” and download it.
