cant play any video files on my mp4

i recantly got an mp4 player for xmas but im having real problems putting video files on it its a stage flash 1gig player i can put mp3s on its not a problem the drivers i got with it dont do anything realy i cant update the firmwear on
n i dont no of any websites to fix the problem

had same problem. fixed this way....
Check resolution of loaded avi already on your stage mp4. Mine was 320x240, yours might be same.
You can do this with a free download called GSpot.
Use the Stage av converter tool and enter this resolution for your converts. Hope that works.
