Xvid To DVD - windows xp reduced media ed problem

Hi

I have always used Nero vision express 3 to convert my xvid movies into dvd format. But just recently i have upgraded my software to Nero burning Rom 6.6.0.6 and Nero vision express 3.0.2.7. I have also just recently installed Windows Xp reduced media edition. Now when i convert an xvid to a dvd i am getting a perfect picture but no sound. I am not sure if the problem lies with any of the 3 above mentioned peices of software or not. Please help
