Hi, I recently downloaded codecs so i could view some of the newer movies in the mpeg4 format. Now that i have done that I am not able to use Ulead Media pro to convert files to MPEG formats so i can burn them to DVDs. Its says it can’t open the MPEG encoder. Or some such thing. Did I download something that is interfering with this program?

Hi,
its Ulead media pro 6.5. And in this case I just downloaded a movie off the net in AVI format and was going to use Ulead to convert it to MPEG.I am going to try reinstalling it. Sounds like the best thing to do.

Actully why u want to convert the video to mpeg if its was avi ,if u use Ulead DVD authore u can export avi moive direct to CD to play it on other player
is there any message it display to u when u want to extract movie to mpeg
Oh yeah, its the full program. I reinstalled it last night. By I haven’t had time to check it yet.
I’m also having the same problem. Its nothing to do with ulead because i’v tryed several different programs to convert but still coming up with the same problem. I think it something to do with the way it has been converted to avi but have no ideas how to sort it out.
I had the same problem with the same software, and you get referred to it before anything else. Well I’ll keep looking.
