Just a thank you to panasync for his advice. I copied and pasted the website suggested by him and having downloaded the WM9 codecs, my problem is solved beautifully. I had previously downloaded WM9 but evidently there must have been a problem with some of the codecs in the download process. Thanks again panasync.
