Windows media player wont work

I hope someone can help!!!
Everytime I open Windows media player, it wont open. Give sme a message 'Internal Application Error Occurred'. I have tried everything!
Also, when downlaoding in Kazaa, when i try and AviPreview, it updates the Video Codec, but not the Audio, and wont play preview? Are these linked?

PLEASE HELP!!!

Download Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft’s website and then install it. Your problem will be solved

I have the same problem and reinstalling the Version
10 does not fix it

Same problem. XP sp2 does not resolve. Next I’ll try uninstall and then install 10.

LOL Sweet! I’ve reinstalled XP, but not a full format. Guess I use Real :-)
