After much trouble I’ve managed to get some “avi” files playing under Windows XP, but some are playing sideways, rotated 90 degrees.
Anyone had this problem, know what’s going on, and how to fix it?

Do you have a DivX player? They are free for dolnwoad if not, the Realplayer free version will normally play DivX movies. I’m assuming that is what you’re asking as the Microsoft Media player doesn’t usually play DivX movies.
