No help? I’m wondering if it may be the new omega drivers I installed onto my computer. Or my attempt at upgrading windows media player. reply

I’m having the exact same problem, and I’d greatly appreciate assistance. Thanks! reply

Yah omega drivers were definately my problem, i uninstalled them and installed the orig ones from the manf. and it worked fine, no problem at all. I dont know if there is some setting you can play with in the omegas but its too bad cause i love omega drivers for there performance and stability for gaming. anyways, lata, hope this helped. reply

I have the same problem (probably sick of reading that, right?). It happens to me no matter what online video I watch. Never experienced it with my Windows video player, but on Gametrailers.com, Youtube.com, DantesInferno.com (if you’re conservative, don’t check this out; I love my gaming), and any other streaming site, it happens every once in a while, say maybe 2/5 of the time. reply

Same problem as the rest here- video freezes unless i keep the mouse moving. i don’t have Omega drivers, just a toshiba laptop with manufacturer’s drivers. will see if i can find something about upgrading drivers if that helps.

It would be great if someone could post detailed instructions on a fix for this! :) reply

same happens with me but i found a temporary solution. when the video starts playing, and then freezes just refresh the page and it will go back to normal. sadly, you hsve to do this for every new video that plays reply

I had installed Skype on my windows 2007. I have been experiencing the same “freezing” problems with streaming video downloads, and also freeze-ups when I had more than 3 tabs set at bottom of my screen. I just un-installed Skype completely and now those problems have ceased. I swear to God!! Coincidence?? Doubtful! reply

This has happened to me several times now. I believe it is an issue within firefox and Adobe Flash.

2 solutions- stop using firefox.
or, update/reinstall the most recent flash. Really annoying that I"ve had to do this twice within the past few weeks.

However, it is the only solution I have found that works for this. reply

Uninstall Flash and then reinstall it. I did this on my Toshiba laptop and it worked. Not sure why, but it totally did. reply
