I can’t burn a DVD for the life of me! I downloaded DVDdecrypter and DVDshrink, but whenever I try to burn DVD’s, neither program can seem to find the files on my computer! HELP PLEASE!

As Mighty Mouse would say " Here I come to save the day!". Okay welcome to the world of burning DVD’s. I will assume that you have a DVD burner and have bought either DVD-R,DVD+R or DVD+-RW blank disc. The programs that you mentioned are okay but they are not fast enought for me, I have far too many files to convert and 6 or 7 hours of converting time is not cutting it. Okay first what you need to do is go to WWW.Winavi.com and download Winavi 6.3, it’s one of the fastest conversion programs out there, you can convert just about any type of video file with this program. Once you have the program downloaded e-mail me and I will send you the codes, unless you don’t mind paying 30 bucks for it. Next you will need a tool called Gspot, this tool will show you which audio codecs are loaded on the video file you want to convert. You can get that tool at (it’s free!)http://www.free-codecs.com/download/GSpot.htm
Now on to the good stuff. Depending on what type of video files you want to convert you need to choose your options once you open Winavi, if you downloaded a movie file in avi format and you wnat to convert it to DVD to play on your home DVD player then choose DVD and follow instructions. You will need to open Gspot and load the audio codecs of the file you are converting, once you finish converting with Winavi and you are ready to burn onto a DVD disc be sure to leave Gspot open,it will load the proper audio codecs for that file. Be sure to use the export mode. Once you have finished burning your DVD go to your home DVD player, put the disc in and enjoy the show! P.S. If you don’t keep Gspot open you won’t get any audio when you burn the file. Well I hope this has helped you out. Email me for those codes!!

Frank

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH FRANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was exactly what I was looking for!

I actually used bittorrent to get WinAVI, so I don’t need those codes (it had a crack or whatever) but thanks anyway!
