torrent help (rar's)

hi, downloaded a torrent file of a movie and it’s come as loads of rar’s. what are these? they won’t let me play the movie, tried using winrar but it doesn’t help.?

Open the folder with the rar’s file with WinRar go to menu select all and extract to desktop and see what you get.Look at the title of your download if is a Xvid is going to be a video file and you can play it on computer with any player like VLC or BSplayer or Xvid player.If you see a svcd or vcd in your title after unrar you may get a pair of cue/bin files ready to burn it on cd.Here you find the players:http://www.free-codecs.com/

hi, i’ve done that. but it comes up with loads of seperate folders (CI, BM , NI, HN....etc) and in these folders are loads of .HOP and .HIP files.??

any ideas?

Are you sure is a movie? What’s the title of your download?

I think you’ve downloaded a dvd or svcd image..

I would dowload the move again on another torrent-site

Did you try right clicking on the first file of all of the .rar’s and slicking extract here...thats how i did it. And after that at the bottom there should be the video icon popping up..hope that helped

if it looks like it is in dvd format try mounting it on a virtual drive like http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/announcements.php

it seems that 2=2 so now the movie should play

how can i play torrrent file simply

This may be a really stupid question but , i have noidea what RAR is and which un rar programe i should download , is there a best one ? or are they all the same? im on XP thanks in advance .

needs some help... clueless to this rar and torrent stuff, but looking to learn.
I’m on OSX, got a torrent downloaded, got the rar files, they opened and revealed a bunch of other files in three different folders, But I have no idea what to do with them at this point? Can anyone help me ? Thnx in advance.
