I have downloaded from utorrent but the when trying to play on media player it says codec required?? HELP

i hav downloadd Eat,Pray,and Love soon aftr its release in 2010 via torrent in avi format 800Mb.

But when i play (in windows player, vlc, gom or media classic)it plays 19sec wid caption “Aborting video;redirecting to microsft codec downlod page”

i think newly released movies cannt be played. m i right?

the problem happens only wid newly released movies.
m i right? plz answer

i download a torrent on utorrent, and i was so happy that it finished, that when i opened it, i tried to play it in VLC player which is really good,

but it says download codec from this site..... i went to that website and tried to download it, and i did then to finish downloading it said to put my mobile number in and that costs $4.50 week.

and i didnt do it, please help. on how to watch this torrent

I am trying to play my torrents, but, though the video plays an its fine, there is no audio, I’ve been downloading codecs left and right, but I can’t get the audio to work on my videos on Divx or VLC, does anyone know if I’m missing any specific codecs? It is happening to all my torents.
