Problems

I hope I have put this post in the right area.
When I try to use movie maker 2, I can view the first clip and not the rest of every digital video I import. I can see the video on the time line but not in the story board or collection.I get an error message (unknown error has eccured).
My dig video camera uses mpeg4, and asf files. I can view my videos in media player fine.Please if anyone knows something I would really appreciate some help

Feed the asf file into avicodec. What does it say in the boxes at the bottom?
