Movie Maker won't open

I can’t get movie maker to open at all... through the movie itself or the original program. I do not know if I will be able to get back to this site again... because I don’t know how I got here in the first place. So, if you have any idea on how to fix this problem. Oh... I tried downloading movie maker 2.1 to see if that would work... it downloaded and said it was on my computer, but I can not find it or get movie maker itself to work. Thank you for your help.
