hi there im new to mkv files have never had any problems before playing any other file type i have acer travelmate 2200 and its linked to my samsung 42 inch via vga cable as i want to watch it in high def but no matter what i play it in or if i downblaod all the codecs suggested on the markosa site the audio plays fine but the video plays slow behind it like half the speed it should any help or info would be appreciated thanks 
also it does that on my laptop before ive even tried to watch it on my tv
